Rosie worked as an outreach specialist for the National Alliance on Mental Illness before earning a masters degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. As kitchen manager of the Monastic Academy in Vermont, Rosie Jaye orchestrated the shopping, cooking, and systematization of a kitchen serving up to 40 people each day. She cooked countless meals for retreat ants and directed residents, apprentices, and guests in integrating meditation into daily kitchen and chore work.
Rosie is passionate about alchemizing ethically sourced foods into delicious meals that build community and nourish mind, body, and spirit. She has worked with Food Not Bombs, Salvation Farms, and The Homeless Garden Project to help cultivate a sustainable food system as a pathway to peace.
